One week of classes left!!!! We all went out to dinner tonight to celebrate.....

First ride in Baltimore.....so, my bike had been leaning against a wall in my apartment for over a month, and I hadn't tuned it up at all since my last 100 mile ride last summer(not wise).....i met a girl named Christina who is at med school in chicago, taking a course at Hopkins this summer. We met this morning at this park n ride about 20 mins outside of Baltimore and took off from there......i was so surprised how nice the country was....and there were plenty of good hills mixed in.....

and then it happened.....i was biking up this hill when all of a sudden my entire left pedal came off and was hooked to my shoe.....thank god for good reflexes, i got out of my right pedal before i came crashing down.....it was quite comical looking.....of course we had no tool on us, because nothing ever happens:)

we ended up putting the pedal on in the wrong direction(don't ask how) so i had to ride on it until it fell off again....

and fall off it did....we improvised, got it back on, and went to breakfast instead of finishing off our 60 mile bike ride as planned....all in all, a very fun morning....christina and I are going for an early morning spin on thursday.... and i am tuning my bike today

This has to be the most 'interesting' local bar that i have been to in quite some time.....

A very relaxing evening....we are going to work on the random breaks together....they keep you going.

Today marked the last day of midterms!!! So, the girls decided to walk down to the inner harbor for some good girl talk and some sangrias to celebrate....

on the way home, nothing but smiles.....it is nice to forget about school for a couple of hours....too bad we have to wake up at 5:30 for clinicals.....:)

Just a quick update on life in Baltimore. I still love nursing school. Baltimore is growing on me as well. Midterms are rapidly approaching(wednesday) that means the 4th of July doesn't count as a "day off" for us. so all of you guys please enjoy it!
Tonight Ashley and I walked down to the Inner Harbor and enjoyed the view from a Tapas restaurant deck....i love having water just 7 blocks away from me......
