My Life in a Camerashell: January 2008

Saturday night we all took a break from the books to celebrate Emily's, Lisa's, and Nicole Holuba's birthdays.....

It was good to spend some time with the girls outside of school.....

Part 1:
VAIL VACATION JAN 18-22: I was able to sneak away for 3 days of friendship packed snowboarding and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Jeff, Melanie, and Nick for letting me stay at your place! Tristram, it was fabulous timing on your part- I was so happy to have you as my afternoon ski partner! Kath, Ian, and Suz- thank you for all of the laughs. Sitting here in my apartment in Baltimore, I find myself missing all of you already!

Suzanne came up for the last morning in Vail.....

Suzanne drove us down to Denver on Monday afternoon and we went out to this amazing restaurant with her brother....good food, good times.

Our last stop in Vail after riding was at La Cantina.....this is Jeff's first Marg...doesn't look like it, I know.

We went to the tap room after a long day of riding and met up with lots of old friends.

Tristram in Sun down bowl....ready to tackle some trees for our last runs of the day. This guy was responsible for the pain I am in now....and I love it....so worth it. We seemed to find powder every detour we took:)
