My Life in a Camerashell: December 2007

Yesterday, we drove up to Visalia to visit Aunt Bernice. We went to our all time favorite restaurant, the Vintage Press, and enjoyed a wonderful evening together.

I really can't explain these action shots...we were trying to play with the camera modes...

I've been home for almost a week now and have been loving every minute of time away from school....

Spending a lot of time with family

and friends. Abby, my long time volleyball partner from 9th grade, and I went out to lunch in LA

and then she had me over for a holiday dinner(thank you Abby)at her new home....with her new husband and Phil

Ok, this is one of those 'you had to be there' kind of photos.....the car door slammed my head from behind, which caused me to headbutt Veronika in the face(pretty hilarious), and somehow the camera caught the action...

My father invited us all out to dinner to celebrate Belen's birthday last night

WE ARE DONE WITH SECOND SEMESTER!!!!!!! CONGRATS FRIENDS!!!!!
So, after we all finished our last exam on Tuesday I threw a party for my class in my building. It was so great to get everyone together- we all had a great time and I flew out to L.A the next morning........

On December 6th when we all should have been studying, we decided to go up to the lighting of the monument.....it was some firework show!

Ann and Em bundled up like Eskimos....it was freezing!

Last week was a long one. I am still loving Labor and Delivery/Postpartum. We are all ready for the semester break though, and the thought of having to take finals this and next week just makes me kind of want to get on a plane right now!
Friday night Emily, Ashley, and I went out to happy hour at the inner harbor and enjoyed some martinis. We all had grand plans for work that evening and ended up getting home pretty late:)
On Saturday Ashley and I played Guitar Hero(it was my first time and I loved it!!!) Ashley and Suzanne are pro's. Then we IPOC'd way(school talk) so we could go to Megans Christmas Party.
